Greetings TSES Families,
We’ve had another successful week at TSES! This is a reminder that all HCPSS schools are closed tomorrow, 10/18/24. We will see our students back on Monday, Monday, October 21 starting at 8:30.
As the temperature continues to drop, we wanted to remind you that students will still be going outside for recess. Please make sure you send your child to school with a coat. All clothing needs to be labeled with your child's name to prevent it from being lost. If your child does not have a coat please, reach out to our Family and Community Engagement Liaison, Jenny Rothenberger @ jennifer_rothenberger@hcpss.org. There is also a free clothing give away this weekend, so be sure to check out the details below!
I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

We would like to introduce Jenny Rothenberger, our new Family & Community Engagement Liaison. Her position is to help promote access and equity for all students and families and to help establish home-school partnerships. Her office is located across from the front office and is shared with Karen Purifoy (BSAP Liaison). Please stop by to say hello! Mrs. Rothenberger will be in the building Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but this may change based on meetings and needs during the week. She is available via email and text so feel free to reach out if you have anything you think the school can help with.

October Bullying Communication
Parents, Guardians, and Families,
October is National Bullying Prevention Month! We are spending time this month and throughout the year reminding our staff and students about the importance of preventing and reporting bullying. The role of our parents, guardians, and families is essential in addressing this issue with our students. StopBullying.gov has many great resources for adults and children related to preventing and responding to bullying. Please remember to reach out to your child’s administrator or counseling if you’d like to discuss anything further, and any acts of bullying can be reported through this form Report an Instance of Bullying, Harassment, or Intimidation | Stop Bullying | Howard County Public Schools (hcpss.org). Thank you for being our partners in this important work!
