We will also be celebrating our Education Support Professionals (ESPs) on Wednesday, November 15. Our TSES ESPs are truly Extra Special People, and we are fortunate to have the best of the best at TSES!

TSES Super Singers
We are so happy to congratulate our students! Each week one student in each of our 1st through 5th grade music classes is selected as the "Super Singer." Students selected demonstrate consistent excellence in the school RISE expectations and/or the music skills that are being taught (singing, playing instruments, creating, and moving are some of the skills). Save the date for the TSES Book Fair! Browsing will occur during Media Classes the week of November 13th. Students may shop the fair during the school day on November 20 and 21. Parents may shop the fair 1:00-7:30pm on Monday, November 20 or online. More info to come!
Young Authors Contest
The Howard County Literacy Association invites students in grades 1-5 to submit their original poems and/or short stories to the annual writing contest called The Young Authors' Contest. Please see the Young Authors’ Contest Guidelines for information about the rules and guidelines. All entries must have a completed YAC Cover Sheet sent as a PDF. Submissions may be emailed to Erika_Kennedy@hcpss.org by December 11, 2023. Contact Erika Kennedy with any questions. All Young Authors’ Contest information can be found on the HCLA website. Howard County Literacy Association welcomes parents as members. Visit the HCLA Welcome Page for information about joining.

Cubscouts
Join Pack 914! Scouting is enjoying the outdoors, appreciating nature, helping the community, having fun while making friends.For girls and boys from k-5th grade, join Pack 914 and help your child and the Pack grow. Hiking, fishing, camping, games and so much more. We need you to join and invite a friend to multiply the fun.
