We've had another fantastic week at TSES! Our 2nd graders had a blast today at the Science Center. Thank you to our chaperones for joining the team for today's field trip!
Please remember that HCPSS schools and offices are closed this coming Monday, February 19 for Presidents' Day.
Next Thursday, February 22, we will have spring class pictures and individual pictures. We look forward to seeing our students' smiles on this day!

Eagles Night Out
It’s back, Eagles Night Out (formerly known as Boys’ and Girls’ Night Out!) on March 12 @ 6:15pm-8:00pm. Our theme will be “Spend an Evening with the adult in your life who is your “Hero!” The staff is busy planning activities like Minute to Win It, a dance party, and clay flower creating for our community garden mural. Spelling Bee
We’ve had several Spelling Bees at TSES. The TSES Spelling Bee for grades 4 & 5 was held on Thursday, January 18th. These students participated in the Spelling Bee: Joanna, Eseosa, Ryan, Jonathan, Vian, Sozu, Ernest, Tara, Francisco, Mason, Kyi, Jessie, Henry, Reese, Julia, Skylar, Jason, David G., Elsy, Orlando, Anaiah, Summer, and Jane.
We had three finalists for the Bee that went to a Spell-Off: Eseosa took 3rd place, Summer took 2nd place, and Julia took 1st. Julia and Summer (as an alternate) will prepare for the County Spelling Bee which takes place on Friday, March 15, 2024!
Second and Third grade held Bumble Bees in January as well.
The Second grade Bumble Bee was on January 23rd. We had these students participate: Marcus, Katie, Gianna, London B., Jannat, Aviela, Eowyn, Carsyn, Alex, Evelyn, Jacqui, and Michael V. The winner of the 2nd Grade Bumble Bee was Marcus and the runner-up was Jannat.
The Third grade Bumble Bee was on January 30th. We had these students participate: Kai A., Israel, Callen, Abby, Destiny, Brian H., Parker, Dimitri, Efren, Rafaella, Maeve, and Dylan C. We had three finalists: 3rd place was Destiny, 2nd place was Efren, and 1st place was Dimitri.
Congratulations to all our spellers; we are so proud of you!
